PhD in Cell Biology at the University of Coimbra, Portugal where he is Full Professor of Cell, Development and Reproductive Biology and the Department of Life Sciences. He is a researcher @ CNC – Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra where he leads the Biology of Reproduction and Stem Cell Group, carrying out research in metabolism in reproduction and pluripotency.
